MY PLAN
REVITALIZATION OF DOWNTOWN BOLTON
I will work with the Downtown Revitalization Task Force and the Business Improvement Area Board (BIA) to continue to beautify and revitalize downtown Bolton which will attract more businesses to the Village and fuel the local economy. This will create a tourist destination and not just a drive thru community.
TRAFFIC & ROAD SAFETY
I will work with staff at the Town of Caledon, the Region of Peel and the Province of Ontario to create and implement a comprehensive plan to reduce traffic gridlock and truck traffic in our Villages. Keeping families safe on our roads is paramount and is a priority.
TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY TO THE TAXPAYERS
I will keep my constituents active and engaged in any major decisions that affects their quality of life and livelihood. Residents must be involved before decisions are made and not after the fact.
RESPECT FOR OUR TAXPAYERS
I will ensure that your money is not wasted on unnecessary consultants and legal fees. I will create a committee of residents to preview the budget before getting approved by council.
MANAGED GROWTH
I will ensure that growth is controlled and managed and pays for itself without burdening the residents. We must be in charge of how we grow and what the future of community looks like. We need balanced and responsible growth.
