I want to thank my fellow residents of Bolton Ward 6 for honouring me with your vote yesterday, and providing Bolton with another voice. I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence you have given me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am immensely grateful to the family, friends, and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and effort to my campaign.

To be an effective Councillor involves listening to constituents, translating their concerns into workable proposals, and building consensus to implement them. I could not do this job without the involvement and openness of the people I represent. Walking the neighbourhoods has given me the opportunity to share your ideas, your concerns, and your aspirations, and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to discuss what really matters to you. You have entrusted me with the responsibility of speaking on your behalf as your representative. For that, I am grateful and thank you once again.
